Today, while reviewing information concerning the challenges of excessive drinking of the stronger energy drinks, I pulled up a post that caught my eye. It was a short post about a study of 30 university students that indicated a connection between drinking to much energy drink and heart trouble. I liked the directness and the gravity that came through on a very popular habit that needs to be discussed.
* Drinking just one 250ml sugar-free can a certain caffeinated energy drink could raise the risk of blood clots forming.
* After drinking just one can the 20 to 24 year old participants had shown cardiovascular profile similar to that of someone with heart disease.
* The Company denied that the drink was dangerous.
* …older adults who already have symptoms of heart disease should refrain from drinking the energy drink.
